Good evening! I hope that you are all well and this week has treated you kindly so far. This week I have been back at college from February half term (which was bloomin' lovely, if I do say so myself), which has been a little bit of a shock to the system with having to wake-up at about six a.m. having been getting out of bed at about nine. However, I'm sure my body will get used to it again.

What has been wonderful this Wednesday...

Wonderful Wednesday

Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham was one of my Christmas presents, from my mum, due to being a big fan of Lena's series GIRLS and generally being a fan of Lena herself. After hearing a lot of controversy with parts of the book, it made me a lot more intrigued to read it. This book had me  both howling with laughter, and crying my eyes out, particularly in the first part titled 'Love & Sex'. I suggest you try and pick up a copy or even borrow it from one of your friends...

Miscellaneous Winter Favourites

Good evening! I hope your Wednesday has been treating you well and that for all you high school/college students that your half term is relaxing! This week, I have had Lucy Rose on repeat and even went out in Leeds on Valentines day with some of my friends, which was... umm... eventful...

Oh my God, look at that face / You look like my next mistake
Never in my life did I ever think I would be publishing a blog post with Taylor Swift lyrics in it, but they really do fit for this particular post that I am writing.... Also, there are posts like this when I wish I was under a pseudonym or I was anonymous. However, I have found this writing process rather cathartic (although, admittedly, with hands shaking and my head buzzing with amounts of thoughts as well as constant re-drafts). Thankfully, it has helped me let go of a lot of feelings I have kept locked up for far too long.

You Look Like My Next Mistake

I feel I should apologies a lot for starting my Wonderful Wednesday posts so late on in the new year. However, I am back, and I feel so happy to be writing these blog posts again. Lots of things have been happening whilst I have been missing in action from the Blogosphere and I have so many ideas, yet so little time to get them written with revision for exams starting pretty soon. Nevertheless...

Meet Rory, Ben, Grant and Keiran a.k.a. indie four-piece Model Aeroplanes from Dundee, Scotland. I took the opportunity late on in January to email them a few questions on their up-and-coming headline tour as well as their inspirations and more. I hope you enjoy this little question and answer session, as well as a playlist below of some of their songs. Enjoy!

An Interview with Model Aeroplanes

When I began blogging just over two years ago, I never ever thought I'd tie relationships with some of my best and probably life long friends ever, and it all started with the simple click of a button... We all say how great and vast the blogging community is! Everyone, that I have come across anyway, have been so darn lovely and that's what I love most about blogging, the support we all have from each other and the friendships we all make.

I remember vividly the first time I ever met Ellie from Ellie's Favourite Things at the Company Style Blogger Awards in 2013. I tapped her on the shoulder, and timidly said "Hi Ellie, I'm Georgia, we've been chatting on twitter?..." It went by so quickly. I remember just feeling really comfortable, and actually apart of something. I have to admit, I did fangirl slightly when meeting Ellie, because she is such a cool gal, but when we got to know each other a bit more she's just so down-to-earth. Our second date, if you will, was in February last year, and I went down to Nottingham to stay with my brother for the weekend and we coincided my stay with meeting up briefly on the Friday. We had a bit of a shop around the city centre, and then had a gorgeous lunch at Annie's Burger Shack in the Lace Market. I plan on seeing Ellie again in London later this year which is très exciting!
